Role 1: Experienced Geotechnical Engineer
Experience: 4-8 years
About This Role
Step into a role where your technical expertise directly shapes construction outcomes.
You'll deliver and certify geotechnical reports, run advanced analyses, and mentor the next generation of investigators - all while building towards technical leadership.
What You'll Do
Review, certify, and sign off Lot/Site Classification reports (AS****, AS****, AS****, NSW & QLD standards)
Lead bulk earthworks investigations and designs from brief to final report
Run Plaxis 2D/3D analyses for embankments, slopes, and retaining structures
Prepare geotechnical reports,
slope stability assessments, and earthworks specifications
Conduct and oversee field investigations, soil/rock logging, and earthworks testing
Mentor junior engineers and Site Investigators
Contribute to QA systems, reporting templates, and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
4-8 years' geotechnical engineering experience
Hands-on bulk earthworks design and reporting background
Solid Plaxis 2D/3D modelling skills
Geotester reporting experience
NER and RPEQ registered
Willingness to cross-train in Screw Pier foundation design
Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering (or related)
CPEng accreditation highly regarded
Explicit communicator who takes ownership and drives outcomes
