TheGraphQL(GQL) Developer is responsiblefor designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting scalable API andintegration solutions usingGraphQLand Java technologies.
The rolewill work closely with application, platform, cloud, and architecture teams todeliver secure, high-performing, and reusable services that enabledigitalmodernizationand cloud-native application development across the portfolio.
This positionwill contribute to the development of modern microservices-based architectures,API governance, integration patterns, and continuous improvement initiativeswhile supporting operational excellence within a managed services workplace.
Design, develop,andmaintainGraphQLAPIsand Java-based backend services.
Build reusable,scalable, andsecureGraphQLschemas,resolvers, and data accesslayers.
DevelopRESTandGraphQLintegrationswith enterpriseapplications,databases,and external systems.
Implementmicroservicesusing Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-nativedevelopmentpatterns.
Optimize API performance,query execution, caching, and payload efficiency.
Ensure adherence toAPI security standards including authentication, authorization, and dataprotection.




Participate inapplication modernization initiatives includingmicroservicestransformationand cloud adoption.
Collaborate withCloud, Platform Engineering, and Architecture teams to implementscalableintegrationsolutions.
Supportapplicationonboardingontocloud platforms and containerized environments.
Assist indesigningintegrationpatterns and reusable service frameworks.
Support SLA-drivenproduction environments and participateinincident,problem,andchange management activities.
Perform root causeanalysis and remediation of application and integration issues.
Monitorapplicationperformanceand implement proactive improvement
Contribute toarchitecture reviews, technical governance, and development standards.
Maintaindevelopmentrunbooks,operational procedures, and support documentation.
Define and maintaincloud architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, anddesign patterns across the portfolio.
Developcloudtransformationand modernization roadmaps aligned to business andtechnology strategy
Leadsolutionarchitecturereviews and provide governance for cloudimplementationsacrossprojects and programs.
Design and govern AWSinfrastructure and platform services including EKS, EC2, VPC, Route53,Transit Gateway, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, and related services.
Establish secure cloudarchitecture patterns incorporating Identity and Access Management (IAM),encryption, secrets management,



network segmentation, and security bestpractices.
Driveapplicationmodernizationinitiatives including containerization, cloud-nativearchitectures,microservicesadoption,and serverless computing.
Collaborate with CyberSecurity teams to ensure compliance with enterprise, government, andregulatory requirements.
Identify technologyrisks, technical debt, and improvement opportunities, andestablishremediationroadmaps
Yourresponsibilitieswill also include gathering system and userrequirements,buildingmodules and testing features before release.
You must havehands-on experiencedeveloping,deploying,andmaintainingfunctional,secure and high-quality applications.
To be successful in this roleyou willhave:
Experience working inSLA-driven / managed services (BAU) environments with incident, problem,and change management practices.
Strong hands-onexperience inJava, Spring Boot,GraphQL, and REST APIdevelopment.
ExpertiseinGraphQLschemadesign,resolvers, queries, mutations, and API security.
Experience buildingandsupportingmicroservicesandintegratingenterpriseapplications.
Knowledge ofAWS,Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development practices.
FamiliaritywithCI/CDpipelines,Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
Strong SQL anddatabase experience (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
Experience withmonitoring and observability tools such asDynatrace, Grafana,ELK, or CloudWatch.
Excellentcommunication,analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience creatingtechnical designs, API specifications, use cases, andknowledgerepositories.
PrepareKnowledgerepositoryfor project(s)
Willingness to learnnew technologies and domain areas.
