A leading, fast-growing non-bank lender is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join its Melbourne based credit team.

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring high-quality credit decisions, maintaining strong risk standards, and supporting the business through accurate assessments, sound judgement, and effective stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities:
Conducting detailed credit assessments on allocated residential, commercial, SMSF and construction applications
Providing clear recommendations to Delegated Lending Authority holders and/or exercising your own
Identifying and escalating potential fraud risks
Maintaining high-quality data standards and documentation
Applying sound judgement to identify and manage operational and credit risk
Ensuring adherence to credit policy, regulatory guidance and legal requirements
Building effective relationships with internal stakeholders to support strong outcomes




Contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team culture
The ideal background:
2 - 4+ years' experience in lending or credit assessment, with exposure to one or more of residential, commercial, SMSF and/or construction lending
Experience working in a manual credit assessment environment
Ability to work autonomously with strong self-motivation
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine "can-do" attitude
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to adapt quickly, learn on the fly, and perform under pressure
Commitment to integrity, teamwork, fairness and continuous improvement
