Your New Role:
We are looking for aproactive, curious and technically minded Assistant Accountantto join our finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with2-3 years' accounting experience, or someone currently working inaudit or professional serviceswho is looking to make the move intoindustry financial accounting.
Working within afast-moving, professional and growth focused environment, you will work closely with the broader finance and business teams and gain exposure to the full accounting cycle.
What you'll be doing:
Preparingaccount reconciliationsacross AP, AR, balance sheet and clearing accounts.
Processingjournal entries, accruals and prepayments.
Supportingmonth-end closeand ensuring accounts are accurate and reconciled.
Performingbank and transactional reconciliations.
Preparing transparent and accurateworkpapersfor review.
Supporting AP/AR and investigating variances and discrepancies.
Assisting withinventory reconciliations, cash analysis and financial reporting.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and working papers.
What we're looking for:
You'll be aself-starter who is disciplined, engaged and proactive, with a genuine hunger to learn and develop your accounting career.
You'll have:
2-3 years' accounting experience, ideally within aprivate equity,larger organisations,ASX listed businesses,orprofessional servicesorauditing.
Strong understanding ofreconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and month-end.
StrongExcel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and SUMIFS.




Experience working with anERP systemsuch as SAP, Pronto or similar.
Experience preparingaccounting workpapers.
A relevantAccounting, Finance or Business degree.
CA/CPAstudies commenced, or a genuine intention to commence.
