About the RoleWorking alongside experienced plumbers, you will gain hands-on experience across commercial construction projects while continuing your apprenticeship training and development.
Key Responsibilities
Assist qualified plumbers with the installation of plumbing, gas and drainage systems
Use and maintain hand and power tools safely
Carry out general labouring and site preparation duties
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and requirements
Learn to read plans, specifications and technical drawings
Maintain a clean and organised work workplace
Attend trade school and complete apprenticeship requirements
Work collaboratively with tradespeople, apprentices and site supervisors

Essential Selection CriteriaCurrently undertaking a Plumbing Apprenticeship (2nd or 3rd Year)
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Current manual driver's licence, or working towards obtaining one
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
Genuine willingness to learn and develop plumbing skills in a commercial construction environment
Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour
Ability to work across various Perth metropolitan construction sites
Desirable Selection CriteriaCertificate II in Plumbing
Exposure to commercial construction plumbing projects
Experience working from plans and specifications
Basic hand and power tool competency
First Aid Certificate
Working at Heights Ticket
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket
