About the role
This is an opportunity to lead complex physical infrastructure projects within a major national digital-infrastructure programme.
Working in a global technology services workplace, you will take ownership of projects deploying hardware and technology configurations across multiple sites.
You will lead delivery from planning and site readiness through physical build, installation, commissioning and go-live.
You will work closely with customers, technical teams and third-party delivery partners across infrastructure areas including network, storage and compute.
What you'll do
Lead multiple infrastructure projects through the full delivery lifecycle
Develop and manage detailed project plans, critical paths, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies
Coordinate technical teams, vendors and third-party delivery partners across multiple sites
Maintain commercial oversight across project costs, revenue, forecasting and delivery performance
Build trusted customer relationships and communicate confidently with senior and executive stakeholders
Resolve delivery challenges, manage difficult conversations and keep projects moving
Support and mentor Project Managers and Project Coordinators within the wider team
The skills you'll bring
At least 10 years of IT, network or infrastructure project-management experience
Direct experience leading large, multi-site deployments of physical technology infrastructure
Experience covering site readiness, infrastructure build, hardware and configuration deployment, commissioning and go-live
The ability to manage several projects concurrently across different infrastructure technologies
Ideally, experience within a technology consultancy, professional services, systems integration or managed services environment
Strong customer-facing communication, stakeholder management and conflict-resolution skills
Commercial experience managing project costs, revenue, budgets and forecasts
A collaborative approach grounded in humility, accountability and sound judgement
Experience delivering data-centre infrastructure or large-scale deployments across network, storage and compute will be highly regarded.
