We're looking for an experienced, friendly and reliableMedical Receptionistto join our team on a casual basis.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy medical environment, is great with patients and is happy to be flexible when our team needs a helping hand.
About you
Ideally, you will:
Haveprevious medical reception experience
Have experience usingBest Practice software
Beavailable to work Fridays.
Beflexible with working hours and days
Be available tocover staff sick leave, annual leave and unexpected absences at short notice
Be reliable, organised and have a outstanding work ethic
Have excellent communication and customer service skills
Be confident and friendly when dealing with patients both face-to-face and over the phone
Be able to work well as part of a team, while also being comfortable working independently
Be able to remain calm and professional in a busy medical environment
About the role
The role will involve all aspects of medical reception, including answering phones, making appointments, welcoming patients, patient check-in and check-out, processing payments, scanning and filing, and assisting our doctors and practice team.




We are afriendly, supportive and close-knit medical centre, and finding someone who is the right fit for our team is really important to us.
This is acasual position, so flexibility is essential.
We are particularly looking for someone who can help us out when staff are away or unexpectedly unable to attend work, sometimes withshort notice.
Medical reception experience, Best Practice experience and Friday availability are essential for this role.
