We currently have multiple opportunities in Canberra for engineers with direct experience across areas such as Systems, Electrical and / or Mechanical engineering.
The successful candidate will have the ability to assess tactical, operational and strategic issues related to engineering change management and program development.
In this role you will directly influencesystems/electrical/mechanicalengineering requirements for a major Defence projects and be responsible for supporting the change management of the platform.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating systems integration activities with prime contractors
Oversee the integrating the various elements of the design and configuration control through out various design phases
Support the integration of design elements and transition to verification and validation phases
Maintain robust strategic relationships through stakeholder management




Review verification plans
Coordinate V&V; and change data and perform detailed analysis
Collaborate with the scheduling team to maintain V&V; and change aspects of the project schedule
Skills & Experience required:
Degree qualified to a Bachelor degree level in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Systems Engineering,Mechanical/ElectricalEngineering, Naval Architecture or Physics);
Proven ability to assess tactical, operational and strategic issues in engineering change management and program development
Experience with platform and combat system verification and validation practices
Demonstrated ability to engage with Defence stakeholders including ADF, APS and contractors
Meet ITAR compliancy
Current/ReinstatableNV1 Clearance
Applicants MUST hold Australian Citizenship and a current Negative Vetting 1 clearance
