About the role
Shepheard Vacuum Truck Services is growing, and we have multiple full time & Casual positions available for reliable, switched-on Vac Truck Operators to join our South West team.
This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety — working across commercial, industrial, civil, government and emergency-response projects throughout the South West.
Key responsibilities
Operate vac trucks across commercial, industrial, civil, government and emergency-response projects
Work Monday to Friday, with participation in a rotating weekend on-call roster
Participate in nightshift and away-work opportunities (when contracts arise)
Safety-focused and able to work independently
Flexibility to work overtime and be on call as needed.
Strong client focus — professional, approachable and committed to representing Shepheard VTS well while delivering a high standard of service on every job
About you
HR licence minimum — MC highly regarded
Controlled Waste/Vac truck experience highly regarded, but not essential
Able to pass a Commercial Driver's Medical




Able to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
Strong work ethic and a good attitude
Flexibility to work overtime and be on call as needed
Heavy vehicle driving experience and a willingness to learn
