About the Role
We are seeking a motivatedAccountantto join a professional accounting team in Mackay on afull-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements, tax returns and client reports.
Assist with the administration and accounting requirements ofSelf-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs).
Support month-end and year-end accounting activities.
Work alongside senior accountants to deliver accurate and timely client outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
Develop technical knowledge across a range of accounting and taxation matters.
Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders as required.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
A degree inAccounting or a related discipline.
Experience with accounting software and cloud-based accounting systems.
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
Good written and verbal communication abilities.
A positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
