About the Position
We're excited to welcome aSpecialist Family Support Practitionerto ourMackay Intensive Family Support (IFS)team.
In this rewarding role, you'll walk alongside vulnerable families, helping them build the skills, confidence and supports they need to create safe, stable and nurturing environments for their children.
Through compassionate, evidence-informed practice, you'll empower families to achieve positive and lasting change.
Level 5 SCHCADS Award.
Salary range: $105,578 - $110,360 + Superannuation.
Full-time, Government funded contract prospect until 30 June **** with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Support families to thriveby delivering intensive, child-centred case management and tailored interventions that address complex needs and child protection concerns.
Build strong partnershipswith families, community services and government agencies to achieve meaningful goals and sustainable outcomes.
Apply your specialist expertiseto assess needs, provide guidance and support colleagues through coaching, mentoring and professional collaboration.
Create lasting impactby strengthening family resilience, community connections and the capacity of caregivers to safely care for their children.

About You
Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (allied health, social work, human services) with professional registration (if required) and, a membership in a professional association (desirable).
At least five (5) years' experience providing complex and intensive case-management and therapeutic services to families, caregivers, young people and children in a child protection framework.
Eligibility to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required), including holding or obtaining required checks (Working with Children Check or professional exemption).
Current driver's licence.
