Casual / Part-Time Opportunity | Hybrid Initially, Transitioning Onsite Near Murdoch
Make a Difference in Patients' Lives
We are seeking an experienced and compassionatePractice Coordinatorto join a growing specialist Pain Practice in Perth's southern corridor near Murdoch.
Working closely with a respected Pain Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting patients through complex treatment journeys while helping establish and grow a recent practice.
About the Role
Initially offered as a casual position with some remote flexibility, this role will transition to a predominantly onsite position as the practice expands.
You will coordinate patient care pathways, manage procedural bookings, liaise with insurers and funding bodies, and ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage patient enquiries and appointment scheduling
Coordinate theatre and procedural lists
Liaise with hospitals, referrers and day surgeries
Manage funding requests and approvals
Work with WorkCover, Workers Compensation insurers, DVA and private health funds
Coordinate medico-legal matters and IMEs
Support patients through complex treatment journeys
Handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
Maintain accurate patient records and administration systems
Support marketing and business development
About You
You will have:




Experience as a Practice Coordinator, Practice Manager, Senior Medical Administrator or similar
Experience in a specialist, procedural, surgical, pain, rehabilitation or psychiatry setting
Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
Understand how to support the marketing and business development of a specialist practice
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to manage challenging patient interactions with warmth and professionalism
A proactive, patient-focused approach and ability to work autonomously
Highly Regarded
Experience with DVA, WorkCover, Workers Compensation and medico-legal administration
Experience managing procedural or theatre lists
Knowledge of pain management, rehabilitation or mental health services
