We are in the market for an experienced andqualifiedprofessional; Aquatic Operations Officer.
You are passionate aboutyour profession and enjoy the rewards of a good challenge.
As an Aquatic Operations Officer you will work as part of apassionate team at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre(MARC), one of the premier sporting facilities in WesternAustraliasupportingprograms and services for the local community.
In this role you will be primarily responsible for thesuccessful operations of the Aquatic component of the Centre on a aday-to-day basis.
This position provides earning potential ofapproximately$88,000- $97,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending onrostered hours and applicable penalties.
Listed below:
10% loading for applicable weekday earlyand late shifts;
25% loading for Saturdays worked; and
50% loading for Sundays worked.
To be successful in this role, you willneed:
WA Pool Operations Competency Certificate orequivalent
Leisure Institute of WA AquaticsAccreditationandCurrentMembership
Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similarposition
Current Royal Life Saving Society Pool LifeguardAward
ProvideFirst Aid Certificate
National Police Clearance(less than 6 monthsold)
Current Working with Children Clearance
Knowledge of all legislation and regulations for theoperation of an Aquatic and Recreation Centrein WesternAustralia
Previous experience in the supervision and development ofstaff
Previous experience of Recreation Industry particularlywith current trends, programs and initiatives relevant tooperating Aquatic Recreation Centre.

*The salary for this role commences at step 1, withpotential for movement within the range based on demonstratedskills and experience.
Incremental progression typically occursat the conclusion of each 12-month period, in accordance withthe Industrial Agreement.
