Based in Henderson the Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for delivering high-quality welding and fabrication outcomes on time, in full and to standard, while actively contributing to continuous improvement across the workshop.

What's Involved
Construct primary structures such as frames, keels, girders, and deck beams for vessels.
Construct secondary structures such as walkways, handrails, equipment brackets and bases.
Read and understand technical documents and workshop drawings.
Adhere to the Austal Safety and Quality standards.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and productive work environment.
You'll Need
The successful applicant will be a trade qualified (second class will also be considered) Fabricator/Boilermaker/Sheet Metalworker or Vehicle Body Builder who has:
Experience in aluminium and/or steel fabrication or MIG welding
Construction White Card
A positive and professional work ethic, taking pride in finished work.
Be physically fit and comfortable working in confined spaces, as well as at heights.
