The Chance
Koppen Construction is seeking an experiencedFinal TrimExcavator Operatorto join our growing team.
This role involves working on projectsboth local and remote.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum5 years' experienceoperating excavators in the civil construction industry.
Willing to work on remote projects as well as local Cairns region
Proven ability to carry outfinal trimwork to a high standard.
Experience excavating deep trenches for pipe installation and backfilling.




Experience usingTOPCON GPSmachine guidance systems (preferred).
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
The ability to complete daily plant pre-start inspections.
Sound understanding of and compliance with Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
The ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team.
Essential Requirements
Relevant machinery operator tickets/licences.
Construction White Card.
Current driver's licence and reliable transport to site.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
