Protech are currently seekingLine Marking Civil Labourers and an experienced Supervisorto form part of adedicated line marking crewdelivering local government road and maintenance projects across the Townsville & surrounding regions.
This is not general civil work — we are specifically looking forlabourers who will be working within line marking operations, alongside aSupervisor to lead the crew on-site.
These roles offerongoing, stable work with long-term career opportunities.
About the Role
Commencing ASAP
Ongoing, stable work with consistent hours
Working acrossTownsville & remote project locations
Working away from home required(10/4 cycle & 9-day fortnight rosters)
Night shifts requireddue to traffic and project delivery
Opportunity forlong-term placement and progression
Hourly rate + penalties, overtime & applicable allowances
Line Marking Civil Labourers – Key Responsibilities
Assist inline marking and road maintenance operations
General civil labouring within aspecialised line marking crew
Set-up, operation, and pack-down of line marking equipment
Work safely inlive traffic environments and active roadwork zones
Manual handling and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Follow allWHS and traffic management requirements
Line Marking Supervisor – Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise theline marking crew on-site
Plan daily works and ensure projects are deliveredon time and to standard
Oversee allline marking activitiesfrom setup through to completion
Ensure compliance withsafety, traffic management, and QA standards
Conductpre-starts, toolbox talks, and site risk assessments




Manage QA documentation and reporting (includingCivilPro)
Coordinate crew, plant, materials, and logistics
Liaise with Project Managers and stakeholders
Civil Labourer – Tickets & Experience
ConstructionWhite Card
Traffic Control Ticket (Highly Desired)
MR Licence or Higher (Essential)
Previous Civil Labouring or outdoor work experience (Highly Regarded)
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Reliable transport
Supervisor Tickets & Experience Required
ConstructionWhite Card

MR Licence or Higher (Essential)
Proven experience inCivil Construction and/or line marking
PreviousSupervisory or Leading Hand Experience(Highly Regarded)
Strong understanding ofWHS and traffic management requirements
Solid computer skills for QA systems and reporting
