Opportunity for a Strategy Manager to join the Corporate Strategy function of a well-established, fast-scaling financial services group.
The business is in a genuine growth and change phase, with several major strategic initiatives underway across the region.
Reporting into the Head of Strategy & Transformation for the region, you'll play a pivotal role spanning both corporate strategy, shaping the organisation's long-term direction and organic and external growth planning, and ownership of major transformation projects, working closely with senior leadership in a high-visibility, evolving environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Shape the organisation's 3-year strategic plan, from organic growth through to external/M&A; opportunities, backed by market research into priority segments, go-to-market strategy, and the competitive landscape
Work with senior leadership to ensure departmental goals, processes, and resource allocation remain aligned to overall corporate strategy
Own the quarterly business review process with global leadership
Prepare board-level strategic material and deep dives, reflecting the scrutiny and governance expectations of a newly regulated entity
Lead delivery of major transformation projects
Support the end-to-end launch of a current product into the market,
from strategic development through to execution
Steer execution of a significant brand and positioning initiative at the regional level
Drive onboarding of new distribution partners, collaborating cross-functionally with international teams
Play a leading role in major technology platform rollouts and emerging automation priority projects, monitoring progress and implementing corrective action as needed
What You'll Bring:
5 years' experience in management consulting gained within a leading management consulting firm, with a focus on strategy (e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Kearney, L.E.K., Oliver Wyman, Strategy&, EY-Parthenon, Monitor Deloitte or similar), currently holding (or ready to step into) a manager-level position
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to model rigorously and build board-grade material at pace
Proven ability to build business cases and commercial analysis to support strategic recommendations
Experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders, including exposure to ELT and/or Board-level audiences
Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving, evolving environment
Financial services industry exposure highly regarded, though not essential
