We've partnered with an exciting brand to recruit an experiencedProduct Developerfor a 12-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a product specialist who enjoys taking ownership frominitial concept through to production, working across a diverse portfolio of brands and collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners.
You'll be part of a collaborative Design & Production team, with plenty of opportunity to get involved in product development, trend research, supplier management and bringing new ideas to life.

The Role
AsProduct Developer, you'll manage the product development process from brief through to production and delivery.
You'll work closely with brand partners to understand their requirements, translate briefs into product concepts, and coordinate development with factories to ensure products are delivered accurately, on time, and to the required quality standards.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident dealing with people, comfortable presenting ideas, and able to manage multiple products and timelines independently.
Key Responsibilities
Manage product development from initial brief through to final production
Meet face-to-face with brand partners,



confidently presenting ideas and discussing product requirements
Create 2D CADs and product mock-ups usingAdobe Illustrator
Develop and maintain accurate spec sheets and product documentation
Translate brand briefs into commercially viable product solutions
Liaise with factories throughout sampling, pre-production and production
Manage sample reviews, amendments and approvals
Work closely with Production and Compliance to resolve product or quality issues
Coordinate product photography and ensure all product is ready for launch
Research market and trend direction to identify new product opportunities
Work across both retail and wholesale product requirements
Manage multiple brand portfolios and critical paths simultaneously
What We're Looking For
4–5+ years' experiencein Product Development, Apparel, Accessories or a similar role
Confident usingAdobe Illustratorto create 2D CADs and product mock-ups
Strong Excel skills and experience creating or managing specification sheets
Experience working directly with factories and suppliers
Confident communicator who enjoys working with clients and brand partners
Strong understanding of product development, sampling and production processes
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Commercially minded with the ability to balance creativity, quality and cost
Trend forecasting and market awareness highly regarded
Optical experience isnot required- apparel or accessories experience is welcomed
