What we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Team Member to join our Works Operations team.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone with practical experience in concrete construction and maintenance activities, including form setting and finishing works.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will help deliver quality road, drainage and concrete infrastructure projects that support our growing community.
What your day will look like:
Deliver road, drainage and concrete construction and maintenance works
Construct and finish concrete projects including kerb and channel, footpaths and culverts
Operate and maintain Council plant, tools and equipment safely
Undertake pre-start inspections and basic maintenance activities
Apply traffic control and safe work practices in public environments
Record completed works, timesheets and service requests using Council systems

What you'll need for success:
General Construction Induction (White Card)
Valid MR Licence recognised in Queensland
Demonstrated experience in concrete works, including form setting and finishing
Experience constructing kerb and channel, footpaths and culverts
Experience in road and drainage maintenance and construction activities
Ability to safely operate and maintain plant, tools and equipment
Understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices




Ability to work effectively within a team and provide quality customer service
Basic digital skills to record work activities and service requests

Chainsaw Level 1
Traffic Management Implementation (Level 2)
