About the role
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is reliable, physically fit, hardworking and passionate about gardening.
You will be working in a beautiful, well-maintained and premium residential environment at The Cove, a luxury gated community comprising 92 apartments and townhouses, surrounded by beautifully established lush tropical gardens, landscaped lawns, water features and two pool areas.
Key responsibilities
Lawn mowing and general lawn care
Hedging and pruning
Manual weeding and spray applications
Green waste collection and removal
Mulching
Blowing and maintaining pathways
General garden and grounds maintenance
Basic maintenance of drip irrigation systems
Operating and maintaining gardening and landscape equipment including ride-on mowers, blowers, brush cutters, hedgers, pruners and pressure-cleaning equipment




About you
Previous experience in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance
A solid work ethic and a reliable, punctual approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
A proactive attitude and the ability to use your initiative
The ability to follow instructions and work safely
A high level of attention to detail
A professional and respectful approach when interacting with residents and contractors
A current driver's licence
Horticultural qualifications and experience with basic drip irrigation systems will be highly regarded, but are not essential
