Job Description
We are inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified staff both internal and external, who wish to upskill and undertake MRI training role within the Lake Imaging Ballarat Region.
Eligibility Criteria:
Full-time
Solid professionalism, communication skills, and teamwork
Commitment to patient-centered care
Medical radiation practitioner registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Minimum 2yrs post qualification experiencewithdemonstratedfullcompetency in CT.
Demonstrated knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy and pathology
Willingness to enrol in and complete an accreditedMRI Physics course
Willingness to complete the ASMIRT Level 1 MRI Accreditation Exam within 12 monthsofcommencingtrainingandattainPartA and Part b of Level Certification
Demonstrates commitment to ongoing self-directed learning by actively seeking educational resources to further develop knowledge.
Willingness to be rotated to all MRI sites withinthe designatedregion.
Commit to a minimum serviceobligationfollowingsuccessful completion of the training.
Additional Considerations:
Have at least 2 years of patient facing clinical experience
Once selected, enrol andcompletetheRadiopediaMRIcoursewithin 1 month ofacceptanceof position.
Once selected,complete all assigned learning within assigned time frame




Once selected, sit ASMIRT Level 1 MRIAccreditationExamPartA within 12 months of commencement of training.
Onceaccepted,agreesto be rostered to all MRI sites in the region.
