Job Description
15 positions are available in East Palmerston, Queensland ****, commencing September ****.
Casual employment is offered with hours being a minimum of 30 hours a week.
Rate of Pay: Wages will be in accordance with the Horticulture award.
For the first 3 months, if you aren't an experienced worker, you will be paid Level 1 Casual employee under the Horticulture Award **** (MA******) which is $***** per hour.
Once you have completed 3 months of work, or have 3 months industry experience, you will progress onto Level 2 which is $*****.
If you are continuously progressing in your duties, after 6 months you can move to level 3 pay, which is $***** per hour.
Job Description:



The successful applicants will need to excel in all tasks listed below and undertake them to a high standard and in an efficient manner.
Jobs include;
De-suckering
Bell injecting
Bagging
Humping
Stringing
De-handing
De-leafing
Irrigation Maintenance
Potential to upskill or provide training for applicants is available for the successful applicants.
Attributes required include the following.
Be enthusiastic and willing to learn and continuously improve in all tasks allocated.
Availability to stay for the duration of 6-9 months.
Physical fitness and self-motivation are required as this position involves being on your feet for extended periods of time while performing repetitive manual tasks.
Be able to work well in a team setting.
