About the role
MSS Security is seeking aFull TimeSecurity Officer to join our team inCairns.
The successful candidate must hold a currentNV1 Clearanceand will have the opportunity to work within a skilled and supportive environment.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems, and radio communications to maintain site safety and security.
Manage visitor and contractor access, issue passes, and assist with site entry requirements.
Respond to customer enquiries and communicate with emergency services and other stakeholders when required.
Conduct foot patrols, record incidents, complete paperwork, and maintain accurate records using computer systems.
Skills & Experience




Must be an Australian Citizen
Must hold a NV1
Certificate II or higher in Security Operations
Current QLD Security licence
Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
Must be available to work a 24/7 roster without restrictions
