Dedicated Conference Centres P/L trading as Verdure Bistro is a busy café style eatery in Romsey serving delicious up-to-date meals .
We seek a qualified and experienced Head Cook tojoin our energetic team.
This position prepares delicious mealsaccording to our menu and provides recommendations for seasonal menu changes and improvements.
You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with theirtaste, presentationand timelydelivery.
An excellent candidate can follow instructions in cooking and deliveringwell-prepared meals.
You must be precise in moving around the kitchen.
Experience inusingvariousingredientsandcookingtechniquesisimportant.
Responsibilities:
Followfood safety requirements
Setupworkstationswithallneededingredientsandcookingequipment to maximize efficiency
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cuttingmeat,etc.)




Food preparation and cooking, also ensuring good presentation bydressingdishesbeforetheyareserved
Keepasanitizedandorderlyenvironmentinthekitchen
Ensureallfoodandotheritemsarestoredcorrectly
Monitor stock and place orders as required.
Requirements:
Trade qualification in cookery and at least 3 years plus experience as acookin abusykitchencookingAustraliancuisine
Regionalcuisineswithfreshproduceisanadvantage
Experienceinusingcuttingtools,cookwareandbake ware
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling,etc.)
Abilitytofollowallsanitationprocedures
Excellentcommunicationskills
Energetic'cando'attitudesupportedbystronginterpersonalskills
