About the Opportunity
n
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced trade qualified Electrician to join our Underground Operations team to maintain and repair underground / primary ventilation and pumping equipment across our three mines at Golden Grove. In this role, you will report to the Electrical Coordinator and work on a 2:2 roster.
n
Your focus will be on optimising operations to ensure safe, efficient, and effective underground systems production.
n
Your primary responsibilities will include:
n
n
Maintaining and repairing underground dewatering and service pumps electrical systems on Flyght submersibles and Wilson Snyder pumps.
n
Maintaining and repairing underground Kemco C200 crushers, apron and plate feeders, conveyor systems and other fixed plant assets.
n
Maintaining and repairing Primary and Booster ventilation electrical systems.
n
Maintaining and repairing shaft haulage double drum winder systems.
n
Monitoring pump performance and respond to breakdowns and water management issues.
n
Conducting routine inspections, fault finding, and preventative maintenance.
n
Assembling and maintaining pipework, valves,



and associated fittings.
n

About You
n
Our ideal candidate will have experience in similar underground maintenance roles with a solid work history, including a sound understanding of HV reticulation, HV Switching, Pumps, Primary centrifugal fans, booster fans and winder systems.
n
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
n
n
WA A Grade Electrical Trade Qualification.
n
HV Switching Accreditation.
n
Vega and Yokogawa Instrument exposure.
n
Pneumatic controls and basic hydraulics experience.
n




Underground loading station, jaw crushers and winder hoisting experience (desirable).
n
n
n
