As Wholesale Sales Manager, you'll lead the sales operation of a high-volume automotive wholesaler.
You'll lead a team of 7 wholesale salespeople, manage and expand our national dealer network, drive sales performance and ensure stock is priced, sold, paid for and moved quickly.
This is a genuine leadership position with significant earning potential and the opportunity to play a major role in the next stage of our growth.
Key responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop our team of 7 wholesale salespeople
Drive sales volume, gross profit and overall team performance
Manage our existing national dealer network while actively developing new accounts
Build strong relationships with Used Car Managers, Buyers and Dealer Principals
Work closely with our buying team to ensure vehicles are priced correctly for the wholesale market
Maintain rapid turnaround from stock arrival to quote, sale, payment and transport
Identify aged stock early and implement strategies to keep inventory moving
Maintain strong dealer payment discipline and debtor performance
Oversee the day-to-day flow between sales, yard operations, transport and accounts
Use WAR ROOM, our purpose-built wholesale management platform, to manage stock, quotes, offers, dealers, sales performance and gross in real time
About you
Genuine automotive experience and understanding of how the used-car market works




Experience in vehicle wholesale, used-car management, buying and valuing, auctions or high-volume automotive sales
Understanding of LMCT, PPSR, trade values, landed costs, dealer margins, aged stock and gross profit
Successfully led and developed salespeople
Ability to motivate a team and hold people accountable
Confident in pricing and negotiating vehicles
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ability to build long-term relationships with dealersCan protect margin while maintaining strong stock turn

We are a fast-growing Melbourne-based vehicle wholesaler, currently moving approximately 450 vehicles per month through an established dealer network across Australia.
Our next target is 1,000 vehicles per month.
The infrastructure, stock supply and systems are being built to handle 1,000 cars per month.
