7 hour minimum per shift

How will you contribute to the team:
n
n
Operate a 20-tonne excavator safely and efficiently.
n
Undertake cargo handling and material movement activities as directed.
n
Conduct pre-start inspections and identify equipment defects.
n
Work safely within confined operating areas onboard the vessel.
n
Comply with all safety, environmental and operational procedures.
n
Maintain accurate operational records as required.
n
Communicate effective with supervisors and crew members.




n
Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
n
n
The skills you will bring to the team:
n
Essential:
n
n
Demonstrated experience operating excavators (20-tonne or similar).
n
Current excavator ticket/licence and relevant competencies.
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Excellent communication skills.
n
Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts.
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Experience operating machinery in confined environments.
n
Previous marine, port, mining or bulk cargo handling experience.
n
Current driver licence.
n
Additional machinery licences/tickets.
n
