About the role
n
You will play a key part in coordinating the day-to-day delivery of integrated facilities management services across Sydney Markets. The role ensures facilities and infrastructure are maintained safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while supporting contractor performance, compliance requirements and projects across the site.
n

What a day in the life could look like (key responsibilities)
n
Facilities Operations:
n
Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of facilities, landscaping and site services across the Sydney Markets.
n
Oversee maintenance works, repairs and minor projects to ensure facilities remain safe, functional and well-presented.
n
Conduct inspections to identify maintenance requirements, safety risks and improvement opportunities.
n
Monitor Building Management System alarms and coordinate operational responses as required.
n
Ensure business continuity through effective coordination of essential site services during peak operational periods.
n
Contractor Management:
n




Coordinate and monitor contractor and service provider performance.
n
Ensure service delivery meets contractual obligations, KPIs, WHS requirements and service standards.
n
Participate in contractor reviews, audits and inspections to drive service quality.
n
Provide operational input into procurement activities, tenders and contract reviews
n
Asset Management & Compliance:
n
Maintain accurate asset, facilities and operational records.
n
Support compliance reporting and documentation relating to regulatory, environmental and authority requirements.
n
Assist with risk management activities, audits and corrective action programs.
n
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure tenant works and building applications comply with approved requirements
n
What you'll bring (skills and experience)
n
Certificate IV, Diploma or tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management, Property, Asset Management, Building Services or a related discipline.
n
Demonstrated experience in facilities management, building services, property operations or a similar field.
n
Strong contractor management and service delivery experience.
n
Knowledge of WHS, operational risk and environmental compliance requirements.
n
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
n
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a complex operational environment.
