About the Role
n
Initially, you will work closely with the Shed Supervisor, assisting with the production and preparation of a range of agricultural products.
n
Your day-to-day work will be hands‐on and varied, with the opportunity to learn how the products are made, how they are used and how they benefit farmers.
n
As you gain experience and knowledge, the role can naturally develop into agricultural applications work, including:
n
n
Working directly with farmers and customers
n
Learning more about soil, crops and agricultural applications
n
Representing the business at agricultural field days and trade shows
n
Building strong relationships with customers and growers
n
Becoming a knowledgeable and valued member of the agricultural team
n
n

You will ideally be:

A great communicator with a positive personality

Reliable, hardworking and willing to get your hands dirty

Someone who takes pride in their work

Keen to learn and develop current skills
n
Interested in agriculture and working with farmers
n
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
n
Someone who wants to build something long term rather than constantly move from job to job
n
Happy to start in production and learn the business from the ground up
n
n
Agricultural, manufacturing, production, machinery or labouring experience would be advantageous, but attitude and personality are more key than having the perfect resume.
n

The Details

Permanent full-time position
n
Approximately $35 - $40 per hour
n
Monday to Friday
n
Approximately 7:00am – 5:00pm
n
Additional hours available during the busy season
n
Hands‐on role with plenty of variety
