The successful candidate will have the ability to assess tactical, operational and strategic issues related to engineering change management and program development. In this role you will directly influence
systems/electrical/mechanical
engineering requirements for a major Defence projects and be responsible for supporting the change management of the platform.

Responsibilities:
n
n
Coordinating systems integration activities with prime contractors
n
Oversee the integrating the various elements of the design and configuration control through out various design phases
n
Support the integration of design elements and transition to verification and validation phases
n
Maintain strong strategic relationships through stakeholder management
n




Review verification plans
n
Coordinate V&V; and change data and perform detailed analysis
n
Collaborate with the scheduling team to maintain V&V; and change aspects of the project schedule
n
n
Skills & Experience required:
n
n
Degree qualified to a Bachelor degree level in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Systems Engineering,
Mechanical/Electrical
Engineering, Naval Architecture or Physics);
n
Proven ability to assess tactical, operational and strategic issues in engineering change management and program development
n
Experience with platform and combat system verification and validation practices
n
Demonstrated ability to engage with Defence stakeholders including ADF, APS and contractors
n
Meet ITAR compliancy
n
Current/Reinstatable
NV1 Clearance
n
n
Applicants MUST hold Australian Citizenship and a current Negative Vetting 1 clearance
