Anthony & Sam Freedman Racing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and capable Trackwork Rider to join our team at the Cranbourne Training Centre.

Working within one of Australia's leading racing stables, the successful applicant will ride quality thoroughbreds in a professional and high-performance environment.

About the Role
n
The successful applicant will be responsible for riding trackwork each morning, including pace work, gallops, jump outs and the education of young horses.
n
We are seeking a confident rider with strong horsemanship skills and the ability to ride a variety of thoroughbreds safely and effectively.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Ride multiple horses each morning.
n
Participate in pace work, gallops and jump outs.
n
Educate and develop young horses.
n
Follow trainer and foreperson instructions accurately.
n




Provide feedback on horse performance and behaviour.
n
Maintain high standards of horse welfare and safety.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Previous experience riding trackwork in a racing stable.
n
Ability to confidently ride strong thoroughbreds, including colts.
n
Experience riding pace work and timed gallops.
n
Solid horse handling and horsemanship skills.
n
Reliable, punctual and professional.
n
Valid Australian working rights.
n
