Due to continued growth, we are expanding our team and seeking two experienced Workshop Service Technicians/Mechanics to join our friendly and supportive Midvale workshop.
In this role, you will be responsible for the commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and repair of Normet underground mining equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship while building a rewarding career within the underground mining industry.
Key responsibilities
Conducting commissioning, servicing and repairs of Normet and clients underground machines:
Modification and/or repair of vehicle systems including: chassis', drivelines, engines, transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrics.
Manufacturing and fitting of electrical and mechanical components.
Testing and adjusting of all mechanical hydraulics, circuits and pneumatic components.
Fault finding, repairing, replacing, and providing technical advice.
Cutting, grinding, drilling, welding, manufacturing of small components and fitting them to machines.
What we offer
Competitive hourly rate of $62 - $64 per hour (flat rate) plus superannuation paid on all hours worked.
Workshop based role-be home every night and weekend to enjoy time with family and friends, working between ******* hours per week, Monday to Friday with Saturday work on occasions.

About you
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience, along with Certificate III in Mechanical, Electrical, or a dual trade qualification
Experience in modification and repairs of heavy mobile equipment
Strong mechanical knowledge and experience.
Ability to read CAD engineer drawings, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics.
High level of problem solving and diagnostic skills.
Experience with can-bus systems is highly desirable.
You will have full working rights in Australia,please notevisa sponsorship is not on offer at this time.




You will have the ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance.
