Elite Projects Electrical Maintenance
New South Wales
Step off the tools without leaving the trade behind
You already know what a job actually costs.
You have priced variations in your head standing on site, watched jobs go sideways because someone quoted them wrong, and thought you could do a better job of it from the office.
This is that job.
About us
ElitePEM is a Central Coast electrical contractor based in Wyong.
We deliver projects, electrical and maintenance work, with a solid base of government panel and strata contracts behind us.
There are around fifteen of us — four licensed electricians, a trades assistant, six apprentices and an office team.
Big enough to have real work on the books.
Small enough that you will genuinely shape how things run.
We are an Neca State and National award-winning team and we are proud of it.
But the thing we would rather be judged on is that six of our fifteen people are apprentices.
We put a lot into bringing people
through, and we look after each other.
If you have worked somewhere that treats people as numbers, this is not that.
The Directors have managed this aspect and are now looking to bring in a competent Estimator/PM and building a proper management team.
This role is a big part of that.
The role
This is a newly created position covering three connected things: pricing the work, running the projects we win, and looking after our maintenance and service contracts.
Day to day, you will be:
• Pricing jobs — from small maintenance works through to panel tenders and commercial projects
• Setting the budget and program, then running projects through to final account
• Identifying and pricing variations before the work happens, not after
• Looking after our strata, facilities and government clients
• Making sure our service contracts are actually making money, and repricing the ones that are not
• Working alongside our Operations Manager, who runs scheduling, crews and site compliance
You will not be scheduling crews or chasing timesheets.
That is covered.
Your job is the commercial side of the business.
What you will bring
We are genuinely open on background.
What matters most:
• An electrical trade background — you have been on the tools and you understand how work actually gets done
• A real feel for what jobs cost, and the discipline to price them properly
• Comfortable with numbers, budgets and margin
• Able to hold a client relationship and a firm commercial position at the same time
• Confident on a computer — we run SimPRO, and you will live in it
• Current NSW driver licence
Handy, but not essential:
• NSW electrical licence
• Estimating or project management experience, formal or otherwise
• Experience with government panel work, strata or facilities maintenance
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
If you have been running jobs as a leading hand or site supervisor and you have the head for the commercial side, we will back you and fill in the gaps.
What is in it for you
• $100,000 – $120,000 package including super, plus a fully maintained vehicle
• Based in Wyong — no daily commute into Sydney
• A supportive team that will back you while you find your feet on the commercial side
• An award-winning business with a genuine investment in its people
• A newly created role you get to shape, rather than one you inherit
• A direct line to the Directors.
No layers, no committees.
• Real ownership of the commercial side of a growing business
