The TLC Dentist is looking for an experienced and highly organised Dental Assistant with a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting to join our friendly team in Earlwood.
n
We are a busy, modern 2-chair dental practice with a strong focus on providing high-quality dentistry and an exceptional patient experience. We're looking for someone experienced who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a close-knit team and can confidently support our clinicians in the day‐to‐day running of the practice.
n
The Position
n
This is a full-time, 4-day-per-week position, offering a great opportunity to enjoy a three-day weekend while still working full-time hours.
n
Hours:
n
Monday to Thursday
n
8:00am – 6:00pm
n
About the Role
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Chairside assisting across a range of general dental procedures
n
Preparing surgeries and ensuring smooth changeovers between patients
n
Sterilisation and infection control procedures
n
Instrument processing, tracking and maintenance
n
Taking dental radiographs within your Certificate IV scope
n
Maintaining accurate clinical and sterilisation records
n
Stock management and ordering
n
Supporting clinicians to keep appointments running efficiently
n
Providing a warm,



professional and reassuring experience for our patients
n
Assisting with the general organisation and smooth running of the practice
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
Holds a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting
n
Has previous dental assisting experience
n
Has excellent knowledge of current infection control and sterilisation protocols
n
Is confident, organised and able to work efficiently in a busy environment
n
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Is reliable, punctual and takes initiative
n
Has strong attention to detail
n
Enjoys working as part of a small, supportive team
n
Takes genuine pride in maintaining a clean, organised and professional clinical environment
n
Experience with
orthodontics/Invisalign
would be highly regarded but is not essential.
n
