Strathfield Golf Club is seeking a motivated and reliable Golf Course Groundsman to join our dedicated course maintenance team.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and wants to develop their skills in golf course maintenance and turf management.
n
About the Role
n
Working as part of our course maintenance team, you will assist with the daily presentation and maintenance of the golf course, including:
n
n
General golf course and turf maintenance
n
Mowing greens, tees, fairways and surrounds
n
Line trimming and general landscaping
n
Gardening and weed control
n
Bunkers, paths and course presentation
n
Irrigation maintenance and repairs
n
Fertilising, spraying and turf management activities
n
General course setup and maintenance
n
Operation and basic maintenance of turf machinery
n
Assisting with renovation and improvement projects
n
Maintaining a clean, safe and professional work environment
n

About You
n
We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual and hardworking
n




Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
n
Able to work effectively as part of a team
n
Takes pride in producing a high standard of work
n
Willing to learn and develop turf management skills
n
Has a positive eye for detail and course presentation
n
Able to follow instructions and work safely
n
Holds a current driver's licence
n
n
Previous golf course, turf, landscaping, horticulture or grounds maintenance experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
