Sharp & Carter is proud to be working with a well-regarded rural health service in regional Victoria northwest to appoint a Director of Nursing / Campus Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced nurse leader with a strong acute care background to take on a senior leadership role within a supportive, close-knit rural health community.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Clinical Services, the Campus Manager holds operational leadership, responsible for the delivery of safe, high-quality clinical and aged care services, while fostering a positive workplace culture and driving continuous service improvement.
n
You will also play a key role in coordinating patient flow, bed utilisation and access management, working collaboratively with campus and community leaders to optimise service delivery and consumer outcomes.
n
You'll be supported by two highly experienced Nurse Unit Managers reporting directly into you — both relatively new to the organisation but bringing significant skill and experience to the team.
n
Key responsibilities include
n
n
Providing operational and clinical leadership across the campus, ensuring safe, person-centred care
n
Leading and coordinating patient flow, bed occupancy and discharge planning
n
Building a positive,
values-driven workplace culture and leading multidisciplinary teams
n
Overseeing workforce management, quality improvement and clinical governance
n
Building strong relationships with consumers, families, staff and community stakeholders
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
This organisation is ideally seeking candidates with a strong acute care clinical background.
n
n
Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
n
Demonstrated acute clinical background and broad health care experience
n
Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
A commitment to high-quality, person-centred care and continuous improvement
n
Experience in patient flow, discharge planning or bed management highly regarded
n
