Requirements

Australian work rights and current police clearance (essential)
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a
medical/specialist/allied
health practice or healthcare environment
n
Previous team leader/manager experience, with strong organisation and prioritisation skills
n
Proficiency with practice management software and standard office software (MedicalDirector and Reckon highly regarded)
n
Excellent written and spoken English with warm, professional communication and high empathy
n
Reliable, detail-focused, able to work autonomously and collaboratively in a small team
n
Strong commitment to
confidentiality/privacy
and delivering high-quality admin support
n

Responsibilities
n
Overseeing day-to-day clinic administration, rostering cover,



workload coordination, and staff support/training
n
Managing patient bookings, cancellations, diaries,
intake/registration
and confidential records using practice software
n
Coordinating Telehealth appointments and supporting patients with basic technical assistance when required
n
Processing referrals and clinical documentation and liaising with patients, GPs and specialists for follow-up care
n
Managing billing and claims (Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and private), plus payroll duties
n
Maintaining clinic operations: supplies purchasing, document management/data entry, reporting incidents, and coordinating
maintenance/IT/phones
while ensuring privacy compliance
