Plumbform is on the hunt for a qualified Maintenance Plumber to join our team.
n
We've got plenty of work on the go across maintenance, reactive call-outs, property managers, strata, shopping centres and commercial projects and we need another solid tradesman to help us keep up.
n
Now, if you're not looking right now yourself but you have a mate who is, we are offering a $500 referral fee when we hire the person you refer. The only condition is that they work with us for at least 6 months.

Here's what we need from you:
n
n
CPC***** - Certificate III in Plumbing
n
Plumbing & Drainage Occupational Licence
n
Gas licence and experience preferred but not essential
n




Backflow and TMV experience and license preferred but not essential
n
Current Driver Licence (minimum of Provisional)
n
General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude, able to work unsupervised, run your own jobs, able to send invoices and prepare information for quotes and train apprentices
n
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
Experience in maintenance plumbing, reactive works and commercial jobs
n
Ability to diagnose issues and come up with practical solutions on site
n
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, tenants, property managers, builders and office staff
n
Ability to complete clear job notes, photos, material lists and follow-up information for the office
n
Valuable understanding of maintenance quoting, variations and identifying additional required works
n
Ability to work efficiently, stay organised and manage your day without constant supervision
n
Takes ownership of jobs from start to finish and follows things through properly
n
Honest and trustworthy
n
Take pride in your work and go the extra mile to make sure the job is top-notch
n
Presents well, speaks well and understands that customer service is a big part of this role
n
Must be reliable, punctual and ready to be part of a team that backs each other up
n
n
This role will involve a mix of:
n
n
general plumbing maintenance
n
reactive call-outs
n
blocked drains
n
leak investigations
n
hot water system repairs and replacements
n
gas maintenance and fault finding
n
Commercial maintenance works
n
property manager and strata jobs
n
occasional project and fit-off works where required
n
n
