Are you a VR-registered GP with a passion for holistic, patient-centred care and integrative medicine? We have a need for a mainstream GP to join our vibrant, integrative practice to support patients with general health concerns, acute presentations, chronic disease management plans, mental health care plans, and other routine general practice patient presentations.

Based in Hawthorn, NIIM Clinic is a large integrative medical clinic, combining general practice with wellness-focused therapies including naturopathy, mentalhealthand allied health support. We provide integrative care forthousands of patients each year,with a strong focus on preventive health,
holisticwellbeingandchronic
disease management.

NIIM also offers patients a range of therapies including IV therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, hyperthermia, and has a comprehensive herbal dispensary on-site. NIIM also conducts world class research at our lab in Hawthorn.

Anchored in evidence-based integrative medicine, we support practitioners with regular free education and the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced Integrative GPs and practitioners.

The Role
n
As a VR GP working at NIIM, you will support patients with general health concerns, family care, acute presentations, chronic disease management plans, mental health care plans, and other routine general practice patient presentations.
n
You may also support
patientsrequiringGP
review before accessing selected NIIMservicessuch as IV infusions or Hyperbaric OxygenTherapy, andrefer internally to other NIIM doctors or practitioners where further support isrequiredfor chronic,complex health concerns.
n
At NIIM, you will be part of a broader healthcare environment that includes Integrative General Practitioners, Allied Health
practitioners,nursesand
complementary therapies.

This role presents an opportunity for you to be exposed
toIntegrativeMedicine
andintegrative treatment modalities, with ample cooperative and educational opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:
n

Delivering general practice care in an integrative practice setting
n
Collaborate with Integrative GPs, allied health and complementary providers
n
Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation
n
Participate in audits, accreditation, CPD and quality improvement activities
n
Uphold professional standards, ethical conduct, and clinic values
n
n
You must have:
n
n
Full VR – AHPRA registration – with the ability to work unsupervised
n
FRACGP or ACRRM or equivalent, or are on the vocational register
n
Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Medicare Provider Number for A1 Medicate rebates
n
ABN & professional indemnity insurance
n
Location freedom and Australian work rights
n
Interest or experience in integrative medicine
n
