The Opportunity
n
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a highly regarded engineering team and play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of complex HVAC and building services projects.
n
Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial developments, you will provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from concept design and engineering calculations through to commissioning and project completion.
n
This is a role for a technically strong engineer who enjoys solving complex challenges, mentoring others, and working closely with clients, project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the design and documentation of HVAC and mechanical building services systems
n
Perform engineering calculations, equipment selections, and system analysis
n
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
n
Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants and contractors to ensure project success
n




Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports
n
Attend client and project meetings, providing expert technical advice
n
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and project delivery activities
n
Mentor and develop junior engineers and contribute to team capability growth
n
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian standards, codes, and safety requirements
n
Identify innovative, sustainable, and value-driven engineering solutions
n

About You
n
To be successful in this position, you will bring:
n
n
Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
n
Extensive experience delivering HVAC and building services projects
n
Strong knowledge of Australian codes, standards, and compliance requirements
n
Proven experience in mechanical design, documentation, and project delivery
n
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant HVAC design software
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects
n
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
