Position: Property Lawyer - having Unrestricted Practicing License

Role Overview
n
We are seeking a motivated Property Lawyer to join our Truganina office. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing and property matters, providing high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive team with clear career progression.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage end-to-end conveyancing matters (purchase, sale, transfers, mortgage registrations).
n
Advise on residential and commercial property transactions, due diligence and contract review.
n
Prepare, review and negotiate contracts, transfer documents, caveats, easements and mortgage documents.
n
Conduct and interpret property searches, liaise with local councils, lenders, real estate agents and settlement agents.
n
Provide clear, timely advice to clients and maintain regular communication.
n
Supervise paralegals and support staff where required.
n




Ensure compliance with professional conduct rules and firm policies.
n
Assist with continuous improvement of processes and contribute to business development.
n
Qualified solicitor admitted in Australia with relevant property law experience.
n
Minimum 2–4 years' post-admission experience in
property/conveyancing
law (or equivalent demonstrated competence).
n
Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory skills.
n
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
n
Well-organised, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
n
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
n
Proficient with MS Office; experience with matter
management/conveyancing
software desirable.
n
Experience with both residential, business and commercial matters.
n
Familiarity with local council/property searches and e-conveyancing platforms.
n
