We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join the management team on a permanent full-time basis on ourOrthopaedic Ward!This opportunity is ideal for a nurse ready to step into a key leadership role and grow, lead and inspire a dedicated team.

About the role:
n
Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, you will support clinical leadership, patient flow, staff development, and the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care, while also assisting with the management of staffing and equipment resources.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team within the Orthopaedic Ward.
n
Assist the Nurse Unit Manager with the effective day-to-day management and coordination of the ward.
n
Promote safe, high-quality and evidence-based nursing care.
n
Support the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care.
n
Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, students and new team members.
n

About You:
n
Your Skills and Experience
n
n
Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
n
Minimum five (5) years' experience working in an acute setting
n
Clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
n
Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development
n
n
This role offers a base hourly rate of $***** - $***** + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*VIC ANUM/AMUM Levels 1-2*)
