n Our client is seeking an experienced Planning and Policy Officer to join their team and play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of major projects across NSW.
n This is an exciting opportunity for a planning professional who wants to work on high-profile, high-value projects.
n You will be involved in:

Supporting planning approvals for major projects.
n
Providing advice on planning assessments and approval strategies.
n
Reviewing Statements, specialist reports and post-approval documentation.
n
Building strong relationships with statutory authorities and NSW government referral agencies.
n
Engaging with communities and industry to understand stakeholder needs and help resolve issues.
n
Developing strategic planning initiatives that minimise environmental impacts and maximise benefits for communities.
n
Monitoring project delivery, risks, impacts and outcomes.
n
Providing practical, evidence-based advice in a complex and rapidly evolving environment.

We're looking for a planning or policy professional with:
n
n
Demonstrated experience securing planning approvals for major or high-value infrastructure projects.
n
Experience working with statutory consent authorities and government referral agencies.
n
Strong project and/or policy management experience.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.
n
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
n
A current Australian Class C driver's licence.
