Motor Mechanic – Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto Tapping

About the Role
Working atBridgestone Select Tyre & Auto Tapping, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical repairs and servicing while maintaining the highest standards ofsafety, workmanship and customer service.
You'll work across a range ofpassenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles and 4WDs, with duties including but not limited to:
General mechanical repairs and maintenance
Vehicle servicing and inspections
Mechanical fault finding and diagnosis
Engine management diagnosis
Brake and suspension repairs
Parts identification and ordering
Providing customers with clear vehicle diagnosis and repair recommendations, including video reporting
Limited tyre fitting & wheel alignments
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
About You
We're looking for a mechanic who isprofessional, reliable, capable and takes genuine pride in their work.
You'll have strong knowledge across a variety of vehicle makes and models, excellent attention to detail and the ability to confidently diagnose and repair vehicles to a high standard.
To be successful in this role, you will have:




A recognisedMotor Mechanic Trade Qualification
Sound mechanical and diagnostic experience
Experience working on passenger, light commercial and 4WD vehicles
The ability to work independently and effectively manage your time
Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
A professional, punctual and responsible attitude
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
The ability to follow HSE policies and procedures
A current Australian manual driver's licence
Wheel alignment experiencedesirable — training can be provided
