Job Description
Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the C7 Stroke/Medical ward on a contract basis. This is a short-term opportunity starting 31 August, with a minimum commitment of four weeks. Based at the hospital in Lismore, the role offers a competitive hourly rate of AUD$***** to AUD$*****, providing an ideal opportunity to gain experience in a busy stroke and medical unit while supporting a dedicated clinical team.

Work in a specialist stroke and medical ward with exposure to acute patient care and recovery pathways
n
AUD$***** to AUD$***** per hour, contract position from 31 August for a minimum of four weeks
n
Based at Lismore Base Hospital, supporting a collaborative nursing team in a regional healthcare setting
n

Preferred Requirements
n
n




Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
Experience working in acute medical or stroke care environments
n
Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills
n
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n
Flexibility and reliability in a rapid-paced ward setting
n
n
Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
n
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in stroke nursing or medical nursing
n
Current CPR and First Aid certification
n
