As a Mentor working in our Parent Pathways Program, you will be doing so much more than finding jobs, you'll be changing lives.
n
We are passionate about empowering and motivating through early intervention assistance and activity participation to help parents achieve their goals for employment or education.
n
The key tosuccess is by working closely to build solid relationships and gain trust! You will:
n
Develop Goal Plans with parents to identify short and long-term education and employment goals
n
Understand the Labour market and provide suitable career advice on local employment and education opportunities
n
Use your influencing skills to connect with employers and RTO's and build strong relationships to help parents secure a suitable activity or employment.

About you
n
Solutions focussed / positive mindset

Self-Confident and motivated
n
Able to build relationships with a range of local community organisations and employers
n
Resilient, empathetic & able to build trust and rapport
n
Relevant tertiary qualification or Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Disability, Employment Services or similar or ability to complete
n
Ability to obtain a Working with
Children/Vulnerable
People Card/Blue Card
n
Be able to obtain a registered myGOVID name prior to commencing employment
n
