Expression of Interest Casual Disability Support Worker – (South Eastern Suburbs - Melbourne)
About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experiencedSupport Workersto express their interest in providing high-quality, personalised care for an agency-managed NDIS client located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
This role is ideal for someone who is genuinely passionate about empowering individuals, providing exceptional personal care, and supporting active community access.
You will be joining an agency-managed setup; please note that candidates must be employed as TFN employees (sole traders or independent contractors will not be considered).
Key ResponsibilitiesDelivering complex personal care with dignity and respect
Administering specialised care includingPEG feeding, catheter care, manual handling and bowel care
Providing medication administration and adhering to strict handling protocols
Utilizing manual handling techniques and equipment safely
Supporting clients withAutism, Mental Health, BOC, ABI, Dementia
Facilitating meaningful community access and outings
Assisting with light domestic duties and household support
Demonstrating empathy, patience, and solid communication skills




Selection Criteria & Mandatory Requirements To be considered for this position, youmustmeet the following criteria:
Qualification:Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
Experience:Minimum1 yearof hands-on experience in support work
Specialized Skills:Proven experience with PEG feeding, catheter care, bowel care, manual handling, medication administration, and managing BOC/Autism/Mental Health
Clearances & Checks:
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Current Manual Handling certificate
Current Medication certificate
Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport
Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination and Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
