We are seeking three experienced HV Substation Field Service Engineers to support a pipeline of high-voltage substation projects across Australia.

The work will span installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance, with engineers supporting projects across multiple states. Sydney-based candidates are preferred.

Critical Technical Requirements
n
Candidates must bring robust, hands-on experience working with HV substation equipment from 66kV to 500kV, including:
n
n
AIS and GIS equipment
n
HV circuit breakers
n
Generator circuit breakers
n
Current transformers (CTs)
n
Voltage transformers (VTs)
n
Disconnectors/isolators
n
Associated HV primary plant and substation equipment
n
n
Strong practical experience across installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance is essential.
n
Electrical Licence - Strongly Preferred
n
A current Australian electrical licence is strongly preferred.
n




We are particularly interested in fully licensed electricians with substantial hands-on HV substation experience.
n
Experience working with equipment from leading HV OEMs will also be highly regarded.
n
The Role
n
Depending on the project, responsibilities may include:
n
n
Installation and assembly of HV substation equipment
n
Testing and commissioning
n
Planned and corrective maintenance
n
Fault finding and technical troubleshooting
n
Equipment inspections and condition assessments
n
Working closely with commissioning, project and site teams
n
n
This is a field-based role requiring flexibility to travel across Australia as project requirements dictate.

What We Need
n
n
Strong hands-on 66kV-500kV substation experience
n
Installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance capability
n
Experience with AIS, GIS and HV primary equipment
n
Experience with circuit breakers, generator circuit breakers, CTs, VTs and disconnectors
n
Strong fault-finding and field-service capability
n
Ability and willingness to travel across Australia
n
Current Australian electrical licence - strongly preferred
n
Experience with leading HV OEM equipment - highly regarded
