Job Description
An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Commercial Finance leader to join a high-performing finance function in a business where commercial finance is central to decision making.

This role combines strategic business partnering, people leadership and commercial performance. You'll lead a team of 5 FBP's and partner with SLT across key operational functions and play a critical role in driving performance, influencing strategy and lifting capability across the Commercial Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
n

Lead, coach and develop a team of Senior Business Partners, Business Partners and Analysts
n
Partner with SLT across Retail, Operations, Property and Supply Chain to deliver commercial insight and influence business outcomes
n
Provide financial analysis, performance reporting and strategic recommendations that support growth and profitability
n
Identify commercial risks and opportunities, challenging stakeholders to drive better decision making
n
Build a culture of proactive business partnering, accountability and continuous improvement.
n
Drive best-practice commercial finance processes across the team.
n




Work closely with FP&A; and Business Intelligence to deliver meaningful planning and performance insights.

About You
n
You are a commercially astute finance leader who enjoys partnering with the business as much as developing people. You'll bring:
n
n
CA/CPA qualification with ideally Big 4 and Commercial Experience
n
Proven experience leading Commercial Finance or Business Partnering teams.
n
Strong commercial judgement and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
n
A genuine passion for coaching and developing high-performing teams.
n
Experience working in large, fast-paced and operationally complex businesses.
n
A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge, influence and drive change.
n
Experience within Retail, Consumer, Supply Chain or other large operational environments will be highly regarded.
n
