Job Description
We are seeking a Kitchen All Rounder to join the team at Al's Pizza in Cronulla, NSW. This is a casual position offering flexibility whilst being part of a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment. As a Kitchen All Rounder, you will be a versatile team member capable of working across multiple kitchen stations and supporting the preparation of our delicious pizza offerings and other menu items. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy hospitality setting and is eager to develop their culinary skills.

What you'll be doing
n
Preparing and assembling pizzas,pastas and other menu items to Al's Pizza standards
n
Operating kitchen equipment including ovens, preparation surfaces and other cooking machinery
n
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with food handling regulations
n
Supporting the kitchen team across various stations including prep, cooking and plating
n
Receiving, storing and organising ingredients and supplies
n
Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, surfaces and utensils
n
Working efficiently during peak service times to meet customer demand
n
Following recipes and plating instructions to ensure consistency and quality
n
Communicating effective with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
n
Assisting with stock management and reporting low inventory levels
n
What we're looking for
n
Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, particularly within a fast‐casual or pizza restaurant setting (preferred but not essential)
n
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during busy service periods




n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and presentation standards
n
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, or willingness to obtain relevant certifications
n
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
n
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen duties
n
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
n
Flexibility and reliability with casual scheduling
n
Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer experiences
n
Enthusiasm to learn new skills and grow within the role
